We were guardians of liberty. We upheld a Constitution that didn't expire when we ETS'd. We improvised. We adapted. We overcame — against adversity, and sometimes against impossible, insurmountable odds.
Yet we persisted.
Now we execute in the civilian sector. Called once again to duty and mission — this time, building the training programs that bridge the gap between service and civilian success. From Formation to Foundation
Those unit crests aren't decorations on a website. They're mine.
1st Infantry Division. The Big Red One. I didn't read about it — I lived it. I marched under that patch when the mission didn't care about your comfort, your timeline, or your excuses.
41st Signal Brigade, Republic of Korea. I ran comms on the Korean Peninsula when the DMZ wasn't a history lesson — it was my backyard. Every signal that moved through that theater moved because we made it move.
12th Cavalry Regiment. Cavalry doesn't wait for permission. We move. We adapt. We execute.
12 years. That's not a talking point. That's 4,380 days of formation, field exercises, deployments, and learning what it actually means to perform under pressure — not the LinkedIn version of “pressure,” the real kind.
Then I transitioned.
And I learned something that every veteran learns: the civilian world doesn't speak our language. Your DD-214 doesn't translate itself. “Managed a 47-person signal detachment across a joint multinational theater of operations” means nothing to an employer who doesn't see the certifications to back it up.
That's the problem I'm solving.
